Our Sunday morning worship service is at 11 AM (Summer 10 AM, mid-June through mid-September).
This service is a time for praising and giving thanks to God, sharing the joys and concerns of our lives, and being renewed by the Word of God through scripture, preaching, sacrament, and song. We are an inclusive, Open and Affirming congregation that welcomes all people, no matter where they are on their faith and life journeys, who seek meaning in their lives and a caring community of others who are willing to accompany them. Our children and youth join us at the beginning of each worship and then depart for their Sunday School classes after the Pastor’s Children’s Message.
On the first Sunday of each month, we celebrate the Lord’s Supper and invite all people to gather at Christ’s table. On communion Sundays, our children join us.
We are blessed by our musical heritage–the fine choir enhances our worship. We also value congregational singing and enjoy a diverse mix of hymns and responses.
Our choir meets every Sunday at 9:30 for rehearsal before our 11:00 worship service.
New Members are always welcome.
In June the choir presents the Strawberry festival in Mayflower Hall. The music comes from musical tunes all walks of life with a different thyme each year. During intermission a free will offering is held. Following the show fresh strawberry on cake or ice cream, Sundaes, hotdogs, pop & coffee are sold. The money raised is used to purchase new sheet music & maintain their robes. The choir takes the summer off for a well deserved rest.
